When I was growing up in CT, my dad had a friend that was very much into antique cars. We would spend weekends driving around 1 of his eclectic autos. That got me interested in these amazing machines. After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America and Florida International University, I worked in the hotel industry for many years in almost all positions in a hotel including rooms, food & beverage, accounting and night manager. From there I went into Private Service managing estates and physical assets for high net worth families. As a result of that ,I was able to spend time in Europe visiting car museums in Mulhous France,Beaulieu England and Monaco. Seeing all of these amazing cars just fed my need to have one. So a couple of years ago my partner and I purchased our 1st one, a 1954 Bentley R Type. That was followed by a 1915 and 1927 Model T Ford. We then acquired a 1959 Bentley S2. The 2 Bentleys left us when we came across a 1936 Rolls-Royce 25/30 Freestone & Webb Sedanca de Ville which we named “Winston” after Churchill! We are having a great deal of fun with Winston and plan to take him a few places this summer after we get some of his issues sorted out. I can’t wait to get more involved with the GIRCCCA this summer.
