Packards of Chicagoland and GIRCCCA Picnic. Carmance S7, Ep 3.
July 19, 2026 there was a joint picnic of the Packards of Chicagoland and the Greater Illinois Region Classic Car Club of America held at the Fabyan Forest Preserve. There was Classic Cars, Fun Food and camaraderie, and bonus material of the Fox River. Kevin Waltman is chairman of the Packard Owners Club, and Russ Rodriguez is chairman of the GIRCCCA. Steven Horowitz is the cinematographer, and this is Carmance season 7 episode 3. See if you can find where I named a car a Cadillac, but it is really a Lincoln.

Weekend Break: 58th annual Father's Day Car Show brings thousands to Oakbrook Center on Sunday
There have been miles of smiles with Dad on Sunday at Oakbrook Center in west suburban Oak Brook. That's the site of the 58th annual Father's Day Car Show, where many fathers and sons are taking a trip down memory lane Sunday. Oakbrook Classic Car Show Father's Day 2024
Every Father's Day for about 5 decades, the Greater Illinois Region of the Classic Car Club of America has a wonderful car show inside the Oakbrook Center shopping mall in Oakbrook Illinois. This video captures and describes some of the most beautiful Classics and Milestone and Antique cars around. This is Series 5 Episode 8 of Carmance. It shows the romance between the car collectors and their cars. PS: The noisy background static is the loud cicadas singing away. They come above ground every 17 years, and this year 2 different cicada breeds came out in Illinois at the same time. They will be calling for mates, lay eggs, then die, or be eaten by ravenous predators like birds.

Classic Car Club of America and Oakbrook Father's Day Car show are historically known to have the best cars and automobiles around. Here we have a 1936 five window coupe that has been restored like nothing else. anyone would be happy to even look at the great automobile or better yet own it. Oakbrook shopping mall is located in the suburb of Chicago Illinois and has an outdoor mall. Each year Classic Car Club of America puts on an auto show...and they have done this car show for over fifty years.

This is a video of the Greater Illinois Region Classic Car Club of America and the Packard Club annual Picnic in Fabyan Preserve in Geneva Illinois on July 18, 2021. It is episode 6 of season 2 of Carmance, showing the romance between Classic Cars and their owners. After the picnic we toured the Fabyan Villa Museum, but I could only video the outside, as photos inside were prohibited. We toured the Japanese Garden, but not the famous windmill on the other side of the Fox river.

Carmance S 4 ep 8 GIRCCCA AND PACKARDS Picnic
The Packards of Chicagoland and the Greater Illinois Region Classic Car Club of America had a lovely picnic on Fox River at the Fabyan Woods Forest Preserve. The cars, the food and the camaraderie was perfect in this sunny warm day. People could visit the windmill from the 1870s, the Fabyan mansion tour, and the Japanese Gardens.
